绝食，示威，还是罢免？在美国进行政治斗争的策略。

最近在微信的群里看到这么一个消息：

“绝食了，绝食了！小房东投诉无门, 走投无路，只好绝食，以抗议永无休止的驱逐禁令！

三年疫情已过，但某些地方政府仍在延长驱逐禁令，使收不到租的房东们越来越难以维持生计。

东湾一位小房东，其房客三年多前就不交租，欠租达12万之多，小房东起诉到法院，竟被推迟审理18次，至今无果。走投无路的小房东决定绝食，抗议政府过份偏袒租客，虐待小房东，无视私有财产权益……”

绝食是引起公众对这个问题关注的一个方式，但不是最好的方式。就算你绝食饿死了，官员也不一定会听你的诉求。绝食这种方式源于我们中国人传统的一个观念，把官员当作自己的父母官，如果自己的诉求观念听不见的话就必须绝食，甚至以死相谏！中国传统的官僚体系是官贵民贱。但是，美国的政治系统和我们中国传统的政治系统是不一样的。在美国的政治系统是官贱名贵。美国的政治系统是真正把官员设置成人民的公仆这个位置。在美国长与政治是一个非常艰难，而且吃力不讨好的事情，每一个官员都是千辛万苦才得到的这个位置。所有在美国参与政治的人只关心一件事：如何能够得到更多的选票。选票是所有美国官员的命根子。打蛇要打七寸，对付不良的官员，一定要动到他的选票的来源。

相比之下，有更好的办法。比如说：

1. 到有关的官员的办公室门前举行游行示威，同时请到大批的记者让新闻媒体对这些事情进行报导，把你的故事和你的诉求让新闻媒体都知道。这样子会影响到有关的官员的选票来源，他们才会听你的话，对你的诉求采取关注。

2. 另外的办法是可以在媒体上等大篇幅的广告，来切入这些官员不作为的恶劣行径，也是要打击他（她）的选票来源。

3. 第三种办法是举行罢免活动，召集足够的签名来把这些不良的官员直接罢免。 这更是从根本上要了这些官员的命，虽然罢免不一定成功，但是这些官员的恶行已经昭然天下，选民会对他有怀疑，这样就会影响他最根本的选票来源。当官不与民做主，不如回家卖红薯！

另外，在斗争中也要讲究策略，不要简单地把房东和房客作为对立的群体来看。也要团结房客中的大多数。因为绝大多数的房客也是有良知的正常人， 大部分的房客都是不会想赖帐不交房租的人。

这是我在美国多年观察，并且参与政治得到的一些体会，希望对大家有所帮助。
